Positions Currently Available
As our Event Producer you will lead event installs/strikes, manage event teams, and drive our team to execute the visions of our clients the day of their event. As the onsite lead, you will often be the face of the company with our clients. Our inventory will be sent out with you many times throughout the year; the care it receives is important to ensure everything remains in top condition. This position is highly physical; be prepared to be on your feet, lifting, climbing ladders, talking with multiple teams, and providing high-level service every step of the way.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee the successful install and/or strike of an event to ensure completeness and efficiency, aesthetic excellence, and effective team management
- Supervise and lead event crew teams
- Interface with clients, designers, partner vendors, teammates, and event participants with excitement and positivity
- Conduct “campfires” for onsite crew to review event in totality and assign tasks for an efficient and well-executed show
- Coordinate with the event planner and/or venue manager regarding their layouts, setup, arrival times, and load out times
- Ensure client satisfaction through comprehensive team interaction, expectation achievement, and swift problem-solving
- Thoughtfully set events with “white glove service” so products look their best and the vision of the client is met
- Drive Box Trucks to/from Event Venue as needed
- Safely Load/Unload trucks for Install/Strike to protect others and ensure our inventory remains in the best condition
- Communicate and record condition/breakages to Warehouse Manager and team upon return/event recovery
- Become intimately familiar with a wide variety of venues throughout Colorado and their respective arrival and production requirements
Who You Are:
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and with excellent management skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle the pressure of working with tight schedules/deadlines, often preempting potential conflicts or issues

Job Requirements:
- 2 – 3 years of experience managing a team
- Active Driver’s License in good standing and capable of driving a medium to large box truck
- Reliable transportation to/from our warehouse and/or event sites
- Availability to work some late nights and/or weekends, and travel throughout Colorado
- Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs consistently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer use knowledge
- Ability to interact with clients with grace and confidence

As an Event Crew member you will participate in event warehouse event prep/recovery, installs/strikes, work as part of a team, and help to execute the visions of our clients the day of their events. Our rentals will be sent out with you many times throughout the year; the care they receive is important to ensure they remain in top condition. This position is highly physical; be prepared to be on your feet, lifting, climbing ladders, talking with multiple teams, and providing high-level service every step of the way.
Your Responsibilities:
- Effectively and efficiently participate in the successful install and/or strike of an event to ensure completeness and aesthetic excellence
- Thoughtfully set events with “white glove service” so our products look their best and the vision of the planner is met
- Interface with clients, designers, partner vendors, teammates, and event participants with excitement and positivity
- Participate in “campfires” for event crew to review event, layout, and task assignment for an efficient and well-executed show
- Drive Box Trucks to/from Event Venue as needed
- Safely Load/Unload trucks for Install/Strike to protect others and ensure inventory remains in the best condition
- Communicate condition/breakages to Event Producer and onsite team
- Ensure event site is clean and free of debris during/after install and strike

As an Event Designer you will be driving the vision of Bear’s events by creating unique, innovative designs and proposals to fulfill client requests. Your role is one of the most visible at Bear since your work and imagination will quite literally be on display for all to see, interact with, and experience. Your design input will often define the styles, designs, and products that we purchase and create. The work that you do here will live to inspire others, elevate design concepts, and distinguish Bear within the event industry. This role will demand a great level of autonomy and a strong understanding of event production; including layouts, attendee flow, and the entire event experience.
Your Responsibilities
- Intake a client request to understand their vision for the event and interpret their needs to effectively show a thorough, clean, exciting, and accurate design and quote
- Be the lead for your proposals and coordinate internally with the team members to effectively design, source, quote and communicate a proposal in a timely manner
- Translate design board creations into detailed quotes/invoices that are comprehensive, accurate, and easy to digest for both the client and the team
- Fully understand internal production requirements, business needs, and constraints of venues to make smart aesthetic design choices that both advocates for a client’s vision and supports our teams needs
- Be an expert in our products and offerings to effectively design and guide client’s proposal and upsell client by embracing a persuasive and intriguing communication style
- Creatively use in-house inventory and make smart, thoughtful sourcing/purchasing recommendations that both elevate a client’s specific design and the overall capabilities of Bear
- Prepare event layouts, graphic artwork, and mockups as needed by clients or our team
- Prepare and present accurate, detailed event job cost reports
- Support design related needs for other departments and company needs
- Occasionally conduct meetings, site visits, and showroom appointments to gather details of an event and to effectively provide insight to our capabilities and production requirements
- Occasionally participate onsite assisting with client relations, setup/strike, and coordination with other vendors/partners
- Conduct smooth project handoffs to Account Managers, Production Teams, and onsite event managers

As our Events Operations Coordinator you will be help manage the requirements we scope out in each of the 300+ events for our clients. You will be responsible to facilitate the transfer of knowledge from our design team to our event production team. This would include collecting and communicating requirements and logistics from our clients, supporting proposal changes and inventory purchasing for the design team, keeping track of event deliverables (e.g. payments, layouts, production plans), and preparing our on-site teams. You will work also work closely with our Production team to ensure that all the preparations for the events are executed to company standards and client expectations.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop the production plan for each event and conduct weekly transition meetings EPMs to provide necessary information for successful execution of the events
- Collect and communicate the changing requirements and logistics from our clients to the event production manager and event lead
- Provide project management for event between contract signing and final delivery. This can include, but is not limited to, supporting sales with proposal changes and inventory sourcing, obtaining necessary event details from the client (e.g. layouts, delivery timing, critical details), managing internal deadlines for our in-house production, and coordinating with outside vendors for deliveries and pickups
- Communicate effectively with a diverse group of external (e.g. suppliers, planners, destination management companies, end client) and internal stakeholders (design, production, fabrication, and event delivery teams)
- Coordinate with purchasing, fabrication, production, and outside vendors in a timely fashion to secure and prepare product for a successful event
- Work with clients to refine and edit active proposals as needed, developing an intricate knowledge of our inventory to help guide, edit, or upsell when appropriate
- Acquire and develop strong relationships with clients to evaluate client needs to determine and suggest appropriate rental needs for their events

Job Requirements:
- 2 – 3 years of experience in a project team environment; preferably in the events industry
- Experience managing customers, clients, and/or deliverables for an internal team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word) as well as experience in other online SAAS environments
- Open to having a flexible schedule to support the needs of our clients, with the occasional need to work weekends and/or late nights
- Ability to interact with clients with grace and confidence
- Active Driver’s License in good standing
